Responsibilities
Must have Cobol Development experience as well as DB2 and JCL experience
The person in this position would be working with a detailed and organized subject matter expert on my team
The SME would have a specification document ready on the candidate's first day
The candidate would be expected to create a new batch COBOL DB2 process that would extract information from the membership database
Once the data is extracted, the information would more than likely need to be altered or manipulated before putting it in file that will be sent to a 3rd party
The candidate would need to complete extensive testing before implementing the solution
Qualification
Required
Cobol Development experience
DB2 experience
JCL experience
