Responsibilities
Communicate directly with the Used Car management team so that they are informed on the status of Used Car vehicles
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, etc
Perform work specified by the service advisor in a timely and efficient manner
Test-drive vehicles to ensure proper repairs
Stay up to date with the latest technologies
Qualification
Required
Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
2+ years of Service Technician experience required
High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification a plus
Excellent customer service and basic computer skills
Enjoy working in a demanding environment
Capable of working well and getting along with fellow employees
Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
A positive, friendly attitude, with a willingness for improvement necessary
Preferred
Prior Kia experience is a plus
