Responsibilities
Systematize State Management: Implement a methodical state management plan based on our field dictionary, moving our React codebase away from ad-hoc patterns toward a structured, data-driven system
Build the Foundation: Own the heavy plumbing. Create the abstractions, hooks, and TypeScript patterns that allow the rest of the team to build features rapidly without fighting the codebase
Ensure Backend-Level Rigor: Bring the same level of stability and strict typing to the frontend that we expect from our backend systems, including robust Auth flows (JWTs, OIDC)
Deliver World-Class UI: Use your architectural control to ensure the UI is glitch-free, performant (60fps), and responsive using Tailwind CSS and Figma-led designs
Qualification
Required
Passion for great design and technical ability to create that design
Experience as a Senior Frontend Engineer
Ability to build complex logic while maintaining UI quality
Experience with React application architecture
Methodical state management skills
Strict typing and schema-driven flows experience
Ability to ensure a world-class, 60fps user experience
Experience with system architecture and product craftsmanship
Ability to implement a methodical state management plan
Experience creating abstractions, hooks, and TypeScript patterns
Ability to ensure backend-level rigor in frontend development
Experience with robust Auth flows (JWTs, OIDC)
Ability to deliver a glitch-free, performant UI using Tailwind CSS and Figma-led designs
Core skills in React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, HTML/CSS/JS
Experience with Tailwind CSS, Figma, and UI/UX Design
Familiarity with APIs and working knowledge of Databases (SQL/Postgres)
Experience with Auth flows (JWTs, OIDC)
TypeScript expertise

Experience in building robust frontend architectures
Ability to solve classes of bugs by design
Ability to build systems that help other engineers work efficiently
Preferred
JS Animation experience (Framer Motion, GSAP, etc.)
