Responsibilities
Be part of a global team to develop and deliver meaningful data and analytics to our customers
Own and drive the roadmap and development of key product capabilities while aligning with engineering, design, and client-facing teams to tackle new opportunities
Provide dedicated market requirements regarding data, analytics, and workflow needs to our data and software development teams for inclusion in product development
Engage in commercial activities including sales-enablement, pricing, data packaging, go-to-market planning, and product prioritization for Direct data sets in our core markets
Work directly with product marketing, sales, and service to define and communicate our data and platform value proposition
Through close coordination with Technology, Design, Product, Client Service and Operations teams, help ensure product, operational and customer service excellence
Demonstrate product capabilities to prospective clients, including functionality and methodology - serving as an expert for our internal stakeholders
Track and deliver against key performance indicators (KPIs) and measurements of product success (product revenue, product profitability, customer satisfaction, quality, cost implications, forecasts, etc.)
Drive adoption of our newest product enhancements on the Morningstar Direct platform
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, computer science or related field is required
A minimum of 5 years of relevant and progressive experience in data and software product management and financial technology
Deep knowledge of Morningstar data, products, and the markets they serve is required
Familiarity with product/project management tools, such as JIRA, Confluence and Asana
Strong technical acumen
Excellent oral and written communication, planning, analytical and problem-solving skills
Work in an ambitious team with tight deadlines across multiple teams and locations

Preferred
Deep knowledge of Morningstar data storage and production systems is preferred
Experience in data analytics using SQL or Python is a plus
