Responsibilities
Lead design and specification of utility systems (minimum two: steam, chilled water, heating hot water, compressed air, natural gas, plumbing)
Develop P&IDs, equipment sizing calculations, and technical specifications for boilers, chillers, cooling towers, compressors, and related equipment
Oversee vendor evaluations, FAT, and field supervision during construction
Ensure compliance with FDA, building codes, and company standards; prepare turnover packages and as-built documentation
Qualification
Required
6+ years of mechanical engineering experience in industrial or pharmaceutical capital projects
Demonstrated expertise in utility system design and integration
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; PE license preferred
Familiarity with AutoCAD, PipeFlo, Revit, or Plant 3D is a plus
