Responsibilities
Provide exceptional and friendly service to create a wonderful customer experience and loyal Smallcakes fans
Process sales transactions in system
Strong sales ability with attention to detail, even during high volume sales periods
Able to make suggestions, be responsive to questions, and upsell products to meet customer’s needs
Assist as needed with quality decoration of baked goods for professional presentation
Prepare and store handcrafted ice cream
Provide accurate orders in-store, and also process phone and online orders efficiently and accurately
Follow instructions accordingly, along with company, sanitation, food and safety guidelines
Use judgment to serve customers at high level, take detailed and accurate custom orders, and solve any customer concerns
Ensure store, work area, equipment, and kitchen are maintained in clean and sanitary manner
Help maintain inventory stock levels, and assemble boxes on daily basis
Qualification
Required
Bakery Customer Service Associates must be at least 18 years of age
Excellent interpersonal, customer relation skills, and reasoning ability
A self-starter able to operate independently
Reliable, motivated and hard-working
Works well with team members
Ability to Stand, Walk, Reach, Squat, and Lift up to 30 pounds
