Responsibilities
Scheduling of production orders considering inventory, lead times, and capacity
Knowledge of machine capabilities, ink, paper stock, and cartons for effective scheduling
Proactively reviewing material supply and requirements to determine appropriate actions to avoid material shortages in production. Make changes to schedules as required
Identify opportunities for improvement
Must be able to multi-task in a changing environment
Working jointly with other team members to identify options when supply is constrained
Qualification
Required
Must have at least 5 years of complex scheduling multi-level production jobs
Must have experience working in an MRP type system
Good oral and written communication skills
Good organizational and record keeping skills
Experience in Microsoft, Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions
Preferred
Packaging (paper) experience is preferred
