Responsibilities
Exposure to best practices in backend web development, using current technologies
Work in a fast-paced, team environment, solving real-world problems for manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, and industrial business environments
An opportunity to work with a world-class team, and gain exposure to Cloud Infrastructure Scaling, DevOps, DevSecOps, and DevEx
Ownership in the evolution of Veryable’s data infrastructure and data warehouse architecture to match the growing needs of customers and internal data consumers
Qualification
Required
Recently graduated or currently enrolled in an accredited, degree-seeking program majoring in Computer Science, Engineering, or related degree with one quarter or semester left
Knowledge of Javascript, TypeScript, and Node.js
Understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
Proficiency in backend frameworks such as Spring, Django, or Express.js
Detail-oriented with a proven ability to take on complex problems, break them down, and drive optimal solutions
Eager to learn, self-starter with a desire to grow professionally all with a winning attitude
Able to work in-office at our headquarters in Downtown Dallas
Preferred
Understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and monitoring on AWS, GCP, or Azure platforms
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or Circle CI
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
Experience working with database management services such as Amazon RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora, and RedShift
Understanding of data architecture, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts
