Responsibilities

Own User Behavior Analysis: Independently analyze user navigation and pathing data to uncover actionable insights and drive improvements to the Hulu user experience
Forensics & Root Cause Analysis: Drive rapid-response investigations and anomaly detection efforts to diagnose data or product issues and guide timely remediation
Drive Strategic Optimization: Develop and present recommendations for optimizing experiences, balancing business goals with user satisfaction
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Act as a key partner to Product, Tech, Data Engineering and Data Product, and other teams to align analytics initiatives with overarching business strategies
Lead End-to-End Projects: Take full ownership of analytics projects, from identifying business needs and formulating hypotheses to delivering polished insights and recommendations
Build Data Visualizations: Create dashboards and advanced reports using tools like Tableau and Looker to track performance, trends, and experimentation outcomes

Required

Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
7+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related discipline
Proven expertise in independently designing, executing, and interpreting A/B tests
Advanced SQL skills, with the ability to manipulate, cohort, and transform large datasets effectively
Advanced skills with both Tableau, Looker, and Look ML
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience delivering insights to stakeholders at all levels
A demonstrated ability to solve complex, ambiguous business problems with minimal guidance
Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) and the ability to communicate insights through compelling storytelling
Expertise with statistical tools (e.g., R, Python) and data warehousing concepts

Preferred

Advanced degree in Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
Ability to identify and appropriately call out issues to leadership
Strong motivation and ability to learn from questions and experiences
Outstanding written and oral communication skills
