Level 1 Provider /Behavior Technician / Behavior Therapist

Bloomwell Autism Therapy is a compassionate organization dedicated to providing life-changing services to children with autism. The Behavior Technician will implement individualized behavior intervention plans, collect data on patient progress, and collaborate with the treatment team to ensure effective care.

Responsibilities

Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the BCBA

Collect and record data on an iPad on patient progress and behavior

Build rapport and establish a positive, therapeutic relationship with patients and their caregivers

Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to review and update behavior intervention plans

Ensure that all interventions are applied consistently with ethical and professional standards while maintaining confidentiality with all PHI

Contribute as a positive team member- supporting the creation and maintenance of an inclusive clinic culture

Required

Bachelor's degree in any field required

Enrolled in or completed a Master's program in an approved discipline including Master's in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Social Work or equivalent

Available Monday – Friday from 7:45am –4:30pm

Experience and a passion for working with children

Willingness to go above and beyond for our teammates and patients by creating a sense of belonging and connection

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel and sit on the floor for extended periods

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

Ability to move quickly in response to patient needs

Preferred

Experience as an RBT is great but NOT required

Prior experience in the following areas has proven to be successful for RBTs: Childcare Provider, Nanny, Daycare Teacher, Teachers Assistant, SpEd Teacher, Special Education, Summer Camp Counselor, Swim Teacher, Coach, Mental Health Technician, Pediatric Therapist, Pediatric Nurse, ABA Therapist, Behavior Therapist, degree in Psychology
