Responsibilities

Supervise 3rd shift union workforce in sanitation and housekeeping processes
Coordinate employee PTO/vacation scheduling and coverage management
Manage Team Concept Cleaning Program, conference room setups, and employee development
Ensure 100% employee safety training compliance and maintain safety standards
Manage OSHA, state, and local regulatory compliance requirements
Oversee HAZMAT and environmental compliance initiatives, emergency response cleanup programs
Support budget tracking, cost-saving initiatives, and KPI performance metrics
Manage Client Business Process Management Program and customer satisfaction surveys
Implement continuous improvement initiatives for housekeeping operations
Coordinate security, building utilities, life/safety systems, and evacuation plans
Provide superior customer service and collaborate effectively with teams for service delivery
Communicate professionally with clients, management, and team members

Required

High School diploma or equivalent
2+ years experience with housekeeping processes and operations
Experience supervising union workforce or similar team environments
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Superior customer service skills and service orientation
Ability to maintain professionalism under stressful situations
Strong organizational skills and collaborative working style
Ability to plan and manage work under time constraints with effective scheduling
Ability to multitask and work without direct supervision
Proficient in MS Office Suite for reporting and communication
Understanding of safety compliance, regulatory requirements, and cleaning processes

Preferred

Associate degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, or related field
Professional certification in housekeeping management or facilities operations
Safety certifications (OSHA 10/30, hazmat training)
Experience with union workforce management and labor relations
Knowledge of building systems including security, utilities, and life/safety systems
Experience with budget management, cost-saving initiatives, and KPI tracking
Background in environmental compliance and waste management programs
Supervisory experience in facilities or housekeeping environments
Experience with emergency response procedures and cleanup protocols
Understanding of energy conservation and environmental initiatives
Experience with client satisfaction surveys and continuous improvement programs
