2+ years expOPIX Systems is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of Building Automation Systems and controls projects. This role involves coordinating with Project Managers, field teams, and vendors to manage documentation, schedules, and day-to-day project activities.
Construction
Responsibilities
Support PMs with project setup, scheduling, and documentation
Track submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project logs
Coordinate material procurement and vendor communication
Assist with job cost tracking and progress billing support
Participate in project meetings and site coordination
Help maintain QA/QC and closeout documentation
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in construction, BAS, HVAC, or controls support roles
Basic understanding of HVAC systems and building controls
Ability to read plans and specifications (training provided)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficiency with MS Office and MS Projects; ERP or project software a plus
