Funding Services Specialist I/II/III/Sr.

Responsibilities
Handles incoming and outgoing phone calls or emails to assist Borrowers, internal credit union staff, Dealers, and Lien Holders
Gathers and reviews documents to ensure completion and accuracy. Satisfies Loan Officer stipulations
Performs verification of income and employment, when necessary
Per credit union policies and procedures, opens new accounts and funds loans
Maintains a thorough knowledge of credit union loan types, products, documents, services, policies, and procedures

The experience as acquired from a high school diploma or equivalent plus two (2) or more years of operational or lending experience in a financial institution OR demonstrated superior performance
The experience as acquired from a high school diploma or equivalent plus four (4) or more years of consumer lending experience in a financial institution OR demonstrated superior performance
The experience as acquired from a high school diploma or equivalent plus eight (8) or more years of consumer lending experience in a financial institution OR demonstrated superior performance
Previous experience in performing process oversight to determine best practices and/or efficiencies; must be able to make recommendations to management
Ability to clearly and effectively train branch and department staff
The experience as acquired from a high school diploma or equivalent plus twelve (12) or more years of consumer lending experience in a financial institution OR demonstrated superior performance
Experience with DocuSign and MeridianLink (Loans PQ) required
Preferred
Knowledge of DMV processes and documents preferred
Experience with DocuSign and MeridianLink (Loans PQ) preferred
