IT Specialist (SYSANALYSIS/APPSW)
DLA Careers is seeking an IT Specialist (SYSANALYSIS/APPSW) to provide release and change management support services for AIS sustainment projects. The role involves ensuring compliance with release management standards and integrating the organization's strategic plan into the team’s objectives.

Responsibilities
Provides release management/ change management migration support services and testing support for AIS sustainment projects involving technical components
Ensure that the organizations strategic plan, mission, and values are integrated into the teams strategies, goals, objectives, work plans and work products and services
Maintains change management providing status of accounting and reporting for all application configuration items
Implements standard methods and procedures for release management/job scheduling functions
Ensures release management/job scheduling standards are in compliance with established directives and instructions

One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is directly in or related to this position
To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector
Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement
Creditable specialized experience includes: Designs, develops, implements, and maintains procedures across the Enterprise to establish an audit trail for traceability
Coordinates and implements all release management/job scheduling activities throughout a defect's life cycle
Participates in the maintenance for the accountability of Configuration items with baselines and releases consistent with policies and procedures
Education: Applicants may not qualify for this position based on education in lieu of specialized experience
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level
