Commercial Solar Account Executive
Artisun Solar is a Veteran & Family operated business specializing in Commercial, industrial, and agricultural solar installations nationwide. They are seeking a highly motivated Commercial Solar Account Executive responsible for driving full-cycle deals in new markets and cultivating relationships with key stakeholders to promote solar energy solutions.

Responsibilities
Identify and target potential commercial solar customers in new markets. Develop and execute a strategic plan to generate leads, establish relationships, and drive sales growth
Lead the entire sales process from initial prospecting and qualification to closing deals. Conduct thorough needs assessments, create customized solar solutions, and present compelling proposals to clients
Possess a strong understanding of financial concepts related to solar energy & business, including return on investment (ROI), net present value (NPV), internal rate of return (IRR), tax incentives, and financing options. Conduct financial analyses to demonstrate the financial benefits of solar energy solutions to clients
Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including facility managers, property owners, and C-suite executives. Understand their unique needs and pain points, and position solar energy as a viable solution to address those needs
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes in the solar energy sector. Continuously monitor market conditions and identify opportunities for business growth
Collaborate with internal teams to develop comprehensive and competitive proposals tailored to meet customer requirements. Ensure proposals are accurate, compelling, and delivered in a timely manner
Lead contract negotiations with clients, addressing any concerns or objections while ensuring a win-win outcome. Close deals in a timely manner, achieving or exceeding sales targets and revenue goals
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B sales or related technical &/or financial centered roles, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and closing deals with C-suite executives & business owners
Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of financial concepts related to solar energy, such as ROI, NPV, IRR and tax incentives
Ability to conduct financial analyses and present persuasive business cases to clients
Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced sales environment
Possess an inherent 'make it happen' mentality and a 'hunter and hustle' approach to sales
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to deliver compelling presentations and proposals to a diverse audience, including technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with customers, colleagues, and industry contacts
Possess a consultative sales approach, and the ability to understand and address customer needs effectively
Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package
Preferred
Familiarity with the solar energy industry, including knowledge of solar technologies, market trends, and regulatory landscape
Other relevant career experience that can translate well into this role: Commercial real estate brokerage, equipment sales, technical sales, software sales, sales engineer, consulting, banking
