Central States Industrial (CSI) is seeking a Shipping Coordinator for their Grand Prairie TX location. This role involves providing operational support for shipping functions and requires a general understanding of logistics, including importing, exporting, and inventory control processes.

Responsibilities

Work with purchasing, customer service, sales, warehouse and project management to coordinate international logistics services (including importing and exporting)

Create and foster relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and 3PLs

Provide support for all warehouse operations; including shipping, receiving, inventory control, general administrative duties and housekeeping

Coordinate international shipments for customers

International documentation

File all documents in document management system

Schedule and order crates

Track shipments

Pull MTR’s for customers

Communicate with vendors to purchase and expedite drop ship and other pertinent items
