Develop, configure and optimize manufacturing processes from inception through start up and certification
Assess processes, take measurements and interpret data
Design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes
Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and product quality while minimizing scrap
Perform process simulations
Manage cost and time constraints
Perform risk assessments
Provide process documentation and operating instructions
Other activities as required
Qualification
Required
Responsible for process design, operation, and implementation
Develop, configure and optimize manufacturing processes from inception through start up and certification
Assess processes, take measurements and interpret data
Design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes
Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and product quality while minimizing scrap
Perform process simulations
Manage cost and time constraints
Perform risk assessments
Provide process documentation and operating instructions
Knowledge and experience in process engineering
Knowledge of process related standards
Working knowledge of process engineering software packages
Basic knowledge of electronic circuit boards
Experience utilizing SOLIDWORKS
Experience trouble shooting machinery and manufacturing equipment
Familiarity with health and safety regulations
Analytical thinker
Excellent communication, presentation and teamwork skills in order to communicate with customer and to team up with the hardware engineers as well as sales engineers
Excellent computer skills including word processing, internet, databases and spreadsheets
Ability to manage several assignments simultaneously
Team player with organizational skills, and ability to work with distractions
B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering degree
Preferred
6 Sigma certification preferred
Experience in process simulations
Experience working in an electronic manufacturing environment, preferred
Experience working with electronic circuit boards and soldering, preferred
