Senior Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities

Lead and manage all maintenance functions, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for all plant equipment and systems
Supervise, train, and develop a team of maintenance technicians and specialists to ensure high performance and adherence to safety standards
Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to identify opportunities for equipment upgrades, process improvements, and downtime reduction
Develop and manage the maintenance budget, including spare parts inventory, vendor contracts, and capital expenditures
Ensure compliance with all OSHA, FDA, and company safety and sanitation regulations
Oversee maintenance scheduling to minimize production disruptions and maximize equipment availability
Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track maintenance activities, generate reports, and monitor KPIs
Lead root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement long-term solutions to prevent recurrence
Manage relationships with external contractors and service providers for specialized repairs or installations
Support capital projects and facility expansions by providing technical expertise and project oversight as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered
Minimum of 7–10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and utility systems, preferably within the food and beverage industry
Experience implementing and managing preventive maintenance programs and CMMS tools
Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Solid understanding of GMPs, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and at all organizational levels

Preferred

Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
