Responsibilities
Sets up and maintains permanent control throughout the entire project
Validates accurate dimensions by reviewing the architectural and structural drawings prior to execution
Layout footings, column lines (using batter-boards when feasible), re-bar placement, wall lines, embeds, anchor bolts, and more on site and stores data points for layout accountability
Provide verification of layout points as necessary
Schedules calibration and maintenance of equipment when its due and makes sure WSI’s teams operate with well-maintained and accurate layout equipment
Qualification
Required
Proficient knowledge in AutoCAD and total stations survey equipment and software
Obtain OSHA 30 certification and CPR/First Aid
Experienced at problem solving and being an effective communicator
Strong knowledge of concrete construction principles/practices
Experienced with using advanced instruments and capable of using Total Station to perform layouts
