Responsibilities
Has knowledge of and is able to proficiently perform all Accounts Payable and other accounting functions including reconciling vendor statements and researching general ledger variances
Research prior payments and settles payment issues with vendors
Processes and reconciles monthly credit card statements
Performs complex record keeping functions requiring knowledge of bookkeeping procedures
Assists with daily reception/phone relief
Completes filing of payables records including electronically
Cash handling experience for daily deposits
Predictable, consistent attendance
Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Qualification
Required
Associates degree in Business, Accounting or related field or equivalent relevant experience
One year of experience in accounting or other relevant administrative functions including proficiency in the use of computer and office equipment
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent analytical and organizational skills
High level of competency working with Microsoft Office suite and cloud-based applications
Strong time-management and prioritization skills
Experience working both independently and, in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Preferred
Prior Not for Profit experience
