NEOGOV is seeking a full-time Office Assistant 3 to serve as a frontline representative for the Washington Soldiers Home. The role involves assisting the nursing department with various clerical duties, managing the nursing station during resident meals, and ensuring smooth administrative operations.

Responsibilities

Assist nursing department with clerical duties

Manage nursing station during resident meals

Print MARS, TARS, and NAC Kardex

Complete IT work orders as needed

Assist nursing and NACs with PCC as needed

Update nursing shift notes and schedules for residents' baths and vital signs daily

Print and disperse medication admin audit report daily

Complete missing POC documentation audit report daily

Complete hospital transfer packets

Notify staff via email of all changes in census beds

Stock all copiers at the end of each shift

Change toners and order backups as needed

Serve at the secondary backup to staffing coordinator and nursing payroll

Qualification

Required

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Two (2) years of clerical experience

Experience with multiple phones, copier, and fax machines

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs

Must be proficient in the English language

Preferred

Prior medical records/health information experience

Medical terminology experience

HIPAA Legislation regulation knowledge
