RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Administrative Director Cancer Center. The Administrative Director has administrative oversight for the Cancer Center and utilizes a multi-disciplinary approach to facilitate optimal patient care, demonstrating the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care to the patient population.

Responsibilities

Assumes the role as a leader in planning, directing, and managing the departments and staff to assure quality service on a 24 hour basis

Prepares and implements written policies and procedures all phases of departmental operations

Periodically updates department Policy & Procedure Manuel

Responsible through managers and supervisors for the overall operation and of all assigned departments

Staff adequate and appropriate coverage for operations

Directs all quality review functions and operations in the Department. This includes the clinical management of patients, patient satisfaction and safety and effective and efficient utilization of hospital services

Establishes, implements and monitors annual goals and objectives which are consistent with the hospital's mission and objectives. All reports are thorough, accurate and submitted by assigned deadlines

Monitors activities of managers and supervisors to ensure compliance with established guidelines and policies

Facilitates strong lines of communication between managers and staff
