Responsibilities

You will be designing and implementing new features to existing and our latest access control applications

You will work with internal and/or contract firmware developers and architects involved in design and system architecture discussions, hardware analysis, and application design

Collaborate with the hardware team during design, development, and integration

Developing and maintaining firmware for a few different hardware platforms

Participate in code review process, unit testing, feature integration work, and assist team members with best coding techniques in building best embedded firmware applications

Required

BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics and Communications Engineering

Strong embedded systems knowledge

Must hold 5+ years of work experience in an embedded linux or RTOS environment

Proficiency with C, Git, and Jira

Experience in design, development, and testing of complex, multi-threaded embedded IoT applications, and communication protocols via I2c, SPI, UART, and others

Experience with writing drivers

Specializing in optimizations for code size, execution speed, memory usage, task scheduler and interrupt controlling, exception handling, and power management

Can complete tasks independently

Mentor junior engineers

Preferred

Linux and/or Zephyr experience preferred
