Responsibilities
Receive daily work assignments from Chief Engineer and review priorities and special projects
Active management in the supervision of all work and repairs being performed
Organize materials, tools and equipment to perform daily assignments
Complete responsibility for maintaining the hotel's appearance, equipment and systems. This is a hands on position that requires active, vigorous leadership
Focus on quality, service standards, and the company mission statement is of paramount importance
Perform electrical, plumbing, preventative maintenance to guest rooms and public area work orders
Handle chemicals for designated uses/surfaces according to hotel requirements
Qualification
Required
Commensurate or transfer skill set is primary importance
Three years experience in a hotel or commercial setting is required
Journey person experience in electrical, mechanical, plumbing or HVAC trade
Knowledge and experience in budgeting and expense control
Good attitude and work ethic practices in order to attain maximum operating efficiency while ensuring adherence to established guest satisfaction criteria
Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as required
