They are looking for a detail-oriented Industrial Engineering Technician to participate in engineering and continuous improvement projects, ensuring timely delivery of program results and performing assessments to improve manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities
Participate in multiple engineering & continuous improvement projects and programs
Ensure timely delivery of program results based on goals
Perform the collection of process design, time and motion studies, and engineering data to drive continual improvement initiatives
Assessment and set-up of industrial and manufacturing infrastructure/equipment
Works on process flow updates, layout changes, work instructions, procedures, and similar document control activities
Performs risk assessments to determine what kind of improvements could be made to keep the facility running smoothly and efficiently
Reviews safety and quality standards to ensure the manufacturing environment is properly meeting guidelines
Experience working on complex problems where analysis or data requires evaluation and identifiable factors on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers
Guide the completion of projects and conduct technical tasks and/or set specific technical strategy and direction for self and/or others
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or industrial Technology preferred
One or more years of experience working in a similar work environment
Experience with AutoCAD or Solidworks
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of manufacturing systems
Effective in time management and delegation
Must be able to read and interpret data, information, and documents
Result driven-demonstrate ownership and accountability
Excellent communication skills—written and verbal
Works on problems of moderate scope
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
Builds productive internal/external working relationships
Comfortable in a fast-moving business and team environment
Attention to detail and process
Self-starter and highly motivated
Fast paced work environment
Certain areas are considered loud work environments and will require ear protection
Extensive use of computer equipment, and frequent telephone activity
