Responsibilities

Lead Structural Engineer on projects including reviewing designs and plans

Providing specialized technical input on transportation related projects

Managing bridge projects including design tasks and coordinating work with engineering staff

Conceptual, preliminary and detailed design of new bridges utilizing pre-stressed concrete, reinforced concrete, structural steel and timber components

Inspection, assessment and rehabilitation design of existing bridges

Load evaluation of existing bridges

Proficient in the use of computer software for the analysis and design of complex structures

Experience in preparation of technical specifications and design documents, report writing, technical engineering support, and limited inspection during construction
