Responsibilities

Negotiate commercial terms on construction and service agreements
Substantiate and negotiate change orders with sub-contractors
Analyze change order conditions and prepare presentations/reports for owner review and approval
Provide strategic insight on project cost impacts, risks, and mitigation strategies
Review and cross-reference drawings, specifications, agreements, and equipment documentation for cost implications
Calculate quantities using spreadsheet/database tools; survey market pricing for materials and labor
Leverage tools like Bluebeam, Navisworks (BIM), CAD, Revit, and Trimble for cost analysis
Maintain and manage the construction budget trend log related to change orders
Review subcontractor quotations for cost impact and value engineering opportunities
Compile and maintain all cost- and contract-related documentation

Required

Bachelor's degree (Engineering preferred)
Minimum of 5 years' experience in construction or mechanical profession (preferred)

Experience with project management and document tracking systems
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
