Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and perform repair operations on specific Cadwell products, completing work in a timely manner, with direction and support from the Service Department Lead
Provide technical telephone support to customers and vendors regarding specific Cadwell systems and applications
Follow established technical and administrative policies and procedures, including pricing
Maintain work area, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly condition, and follow prescribed safety procedures and regulations
Complete required documentation and paperwork
Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned

Required

Associate degree in related field, or 2 years of related education/experience required
Familiar with electronics fundamentals, including: resistor, capacitor, and other electronic components; soldering; component removal and replacement; schematics and other electronic documentation
Computer skills: MS Office and Google applications, query tools, and database systems and applications
Good oral and written communication skills, including receiving, understanding and following oral and written instructions, technical information, procedures and schematics
Complete work both independently and as an effective member of the team, adapting to changing requirements, deadlines, and priorities as needed
Interact with others with a professional and solutions-oriented approach, including technical phone support with co-workers and customers
Must develop and maintain knowledge of Cadwell product lines and how they are used by clinicians, and be able to effectively troubleshoot computer hardware/software issues
Must successfully complete training requirements
Critical success criteria include attention to detail, organized approach to work, effective time management and follow-through
Positions working with Cadwell equipment generally may require some reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, finger dexterity, repetitive motions, standing, walking, sitting, hearing, visual acuity, color vision, and 2-way written/verbal communication
Use of computer and various hand and electronic tools
Work outside normal business hours and overtime may be required to meet business needs
