10+ years expCableLabor LLC is looking for an experienced Foreman / Senior Electrician to lead crews on large-scale commercial new construction projects. This hands-on field leadership role involves supervising crews, ensuring safety and quality, and overseeing the installation of commercial electrical systems.
Responsibilities
Supervise journeymen, apprentices, and helpers
Assign daily tasks, manage manpower, and adjust sequencing to meet schedules
Mentor apprentices and enforce jobsite rules and professional conduct
Plan and layout work using drawings and field conditions
Coordinate with other trades to prevent conflicts
Lead daily huddles and task planning meetings
Track progress and resolve field issues proactively
Oversee installation of commercial electrical systems, including:
Conduit (EMT, rigid, PVC)
Switchgear, panels, and transformers
Lighting and lighting controls
Fire alarm systems (as applicable)
Feeders, branch circuits, grounding, and underground work
Ensure compliance with NEC, project specs, and quality standards
Support inspections, punch lists, and project closeout
Enforce OSHA and jobsite safety policies
Conduct pre-task planning and safety briefings
Serve as on-site electrical contact with inspectors and other trades
Communicate manpower needs and progress updates to leadership
Forecast material needs and coordinate deliveries
Monitor labor productivity
Complete daily reports, timecards, and progress documentation
Qualification
Required
10+ years of commercial electrical construction experience
2+ years as a Foreman or Lead Electrician
Strong knowledge of NEC and commercial electrical systems
Ability to read blueprints, one-lines, and schematics
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
