Meals Program Coordinator

Episcopal Community Services of San Francisco is seeking a Meals Program Coordinator to oversee the DAS-funded meal programs, serving over 6000 meals each month at three ECS sites. Responsibilities

Responsible for coordination of administrative and educational aspects of the DAS-funded meals program at three sites
Collect all daily meal recording data from all sites, assuring accurate and timely information
Provide accurate meal recording, assurance of proper lunch service protocols, and garner feedback from consumers
Facilitate the distribution and collection of the annual consumer survey at all sites
Work with Director of Healthy Aging and Director of CHEFs to identify and reduce areas of waste
Coordinate the collection of all monetary contributions at each site according to the program’s strict requirements
Support all sites with database entries of new intakes, annual assessment renewals, and quarterly recertifications
Assist third-party organizations to facilitate nutritional education sessions at three sites, selecting appropriate topics and collecting accurate attendance
Act as a liaison between the ECS kitchen and individual site needs for optimal quality assurance
Ensure all required signage is posted at all sites
Attend staff and community meetings as needed

Required

At least 1 year experience in program coordination, project management or a related field is required
Collaborative work style, demonstrating initiative and flexibility
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Computer and technology proficiency is required, with the ability to learn new applications quickly
Commitment to ECS's mission and to its organizational values
Must be able to lift at least 10 pounds

Preferred

Bachelor's degree preferred
Some experience working with people experiencing homelessness is preferred
