They are seeking a Lake & Pond Aquatic Technician to preserve the natural ecological balance of aquatic ecosystems while providing superior service to clients. The role involves operating motorboats, treating water, and ensuring the health of aquatic environments.

Responsibilities
Operate a motorboat multiple times throughout the day and attach to assigned vehicle
Treat water for algae, submersed weeds, shoreline weeds, non-desirable buffer vegetation and any other unwanted vegetation
At times obtain water samples to send to the lab for water quality analysis
Provide superior service and fulfil all company contracts, service orders, and related customer needs
Remove nuisance, invasive vegetation through manual removal efforts (occasionally)
Work with experienced Aquatic Specialists in the field to gain knowledge on servicing aspects of water body management
Great communication skills to discuss the service effectively with customers
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Have strong written and verbal skills
Available to work Monday-Friday and weekends as needed
Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence
Ability to follow established procedures and practices
Commitment to all health and safety guidelines
Effective verbal and listening communication skills
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
The work requires strenuous physical exertion and the employee may be required to drive, stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and crouch for extended periods of time, as well as see, talk, hear and use hands and arms to grasp, handle, reach, and feel
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Preferred
Mechanically inclined
Ability to operate trailers and aquatic vessels
Knowledge of aquatic vegetation
1-2 years of experience working independently in an outdoor environment
