Responsibilities
Setting up punch and die sets, cutting blades, and notching dies or shear blades according to work orders
Measuring and marking workpieces from templates to locate holes or cutting lines
Positioning materials accurately under punches, dies, or blades and operating machines via lever or pedal
Setting guides, stops, and jigs for repeatable precision
Tending various sections of fabrication equipment and performing basic setups
Inspecting and documenting completed work, including any materials rejected or scrapped
Ensuring parts meet quality standards and production specifications
Qualification
Required
Ability to move or carry up to 50 lbs
Comfortable standing for up to 10 hours
Proficient in reading and using a tape measure
Reliable transportation
Mechanically inclined and eager to learn
