Account Manager, Social Media

They are seeking an Account Manager for Social Media Marketing to manage client social media accounts, create content, and ensure client satisfaction while demonstrating creativity and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

Manage proactive and reactive communication with each client in a timely manner, ensuring their needs and deadlines are met and tasks are assigned to internal team members
Collaborate with account teams on the promotion of client events and activations
Directly manage 6-8 client social media profiles, including, but not limited to, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok
Create content for social media, including capturing images and video clips to create Reels and TikToks, as well as graphic designs for social media use
Create and manage social media ad campaigns through Meta Business Manager
Develop monthly content calendars
Post social media content using Sprout Social and native platforms where needed
Oversee and manage professional photo and video shoots by identifying and coordinating with local photographers/videographers, creating shot lists, timelines, and reviewing/editing final images
Assist in overall digital brand strategy and messaging for all clients
Determine, track and report on social media KPIs in accordance with client goals
Measure campaign effectiveness and utilize data to make informed strategic or tactical recommendations
Develop social media playbooks in accordance with brand guidelines shared by clients, outlining content pillars, visual identity, and social media and content strategies

Required

Two to three years of experience in social media management and digital content
Strong communication and leadership skills
Self-starter with creativity and strategic thinking
Passion for food, restaurants, travel, and the hospitality industry
Desire to continue knowledge building in social media and brand strategy
Located in the San Francisco Bay Area
Access to a vehicle
Direct experience managing social media accounts on behalf of clients
Proactive community management experience
Experience in Sprout Social and/or HeyOrca (or similar social media management tool)
Familiarity with using Meta Business Manager and devising successful social advertising campaigns
Experience in onboarding/offboarding clients and assigning asset permissions in Meta Business Manager
Experience in graphic design software, including Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite
Photography skills or experience (DSLR or mirrorless)
Familiarity with Lightroom for basic photo editing and asset optimization
Ability to capture and create visually compelling Instagram Reels or TikTok video content using Edits, CapCut, Splice, Adobe Premiere Pro or other similar tools
Existing working knowledge of influencer relations/negotiations (paid and organic)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented, creative, empathetic, strategic, and results-oriented
Excellent writing skills applicable to various formats
Natural networking and team player skills
Strong storytelling abilities
Ability to mentor account coordinator(s) and/or intern(s)
Ability to foster a fun, friendly, professional and efficient work environment
