Responsibilities
Customer Service Leadership: Build and maintain a culture focused on delivering exceptional service
Safety Compliance: Ensure all safety procedures are understood, implemented, and strictly followed
Facility Management: Maintain a clean, professional facility by promptly addressing spills, controlling dust, and cleaning dryers regularly
Operational Coordination: Work closely with the VP of Grain and Assistant Merchandiser to optimize logistics and manage inventory
Transportation Oversight: Coordinate with railroads for efficient loading and transportation
Team Development: Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor employees; delegate tasks effectively and provide follow-up
Cross-Training: Enhance team flexibility by developing skills across divisions
Maintenance Excellence: Ensure grain facilities remain in top condition
Quality Assurance: Maintain grain quality to meet end-user requirements
Issue Reporting: Immediately report any operational concerns, including grain deterioration, unusual odors, or abnormal sounds
Harvest Planning: Set and communicate location hours during harvest to maximize customer satisfaction
Scheduling: Balance employee hours to meet customer needs while supporting work-life balance
Continuous Learning: Develop a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the grain business
Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned

Evidence of work authorization upon employment is required in compliance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986
Completion of USCIS form I-9 will be required in order to verify employment eligibility within 3 business days of the first day of employment
