They are looking for a Cybersecurity Intern to join their team to protect the organization from cyberattacks by monitoring systems, reviewing configuration anomalies, and evaluating threats as they arise.

Responsibilities

Document security configurations, events and assess the damage or risk they cause
Work with the OT Cyber security team to perform tests and uncover system vulnerabilities and help document
Request adjustments to detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard
Stay current on Information Technology (IT) and OT security trends and news
Assist in developing company-wide best practices for IT security
Perform penetration testing and Vulnerability scanning
Help colleagues review security software and understand information security management

Required

3rd or 4th year undergraduate student at an accredited University, pursuing a degree associated with Cybersecurity
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Experience with Microsoft Office, IT Security applications and tools
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future
No relocation or housing assistance is being offered
Interested in work experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst or similar role
Experience in information security or related field
Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques
Understanding of firewalls, SIEM, antivirus and IDPS concepts
Ability to research and identify solution vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them
