Responsibilities

Designing and implementing production processes and systems that improve efficiency and quality
Conducting time and motion studies to identify areas for improvement in production processes
Developing and implementing quality control procedures to ensure products meet customer specifications
Work towards increasing efficiency and safety throughout all production systems
Analyzing production data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Developing and implementing cost reduction strategies
Collaborating with other engineers and managers to develop and implement process improvements
Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations
Preparing reports and presentations on production data and process improvements
Is a team player who excels working in-person and connecting with remote partners
Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage to goals and support the OTD and quality of production output
Willing to present at meetings or submit papers based on work
Has strong customer focus
Additional duties and responsibilities may be required based upon organizational needs

Required

Attending an accredited University and achieved a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
Experience implementing lean production systems
Experience level loading times based on time studies and analytical tools
Experience working collaboratively within a team environment to meet aggressive goals and high-quality standards
Expertise with kaizen methodologies, TPM, DMAIC problem solving, process mapping, and other lean manufacturing tools
U.S. Citizenship Required
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project, MS Visio
