Responsibilities

Select, lead, educate and motivate a staff of employees

Identify new business opportunities and assist Sales in pricing negotiations to secure business

Equip team to perform key customer service functions for spot quotes and premium services

Develop and implement necessary reporting tools to direct actions and keep leadership/team informed of performance

Analyze performance trends, market conditions and operational capabilities to guide pricing decisions to optimize the network

Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders to run an efficient and effective spot quote and expedited business

Educate Sales/Operations/Customers on service offerings

Ensure processes, procedures and systems are documented and followed for consistent delivery of quality service

Develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives and projects to drive cost reductions and internal efficiencies

Collaborate and network with cross opco colleagues to improve utilization of assets across the Enterprise

Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures

Perform other assignments (or duties) as required
