To assist members with their loan applications, including processing and making loan disbursements
To assist members with their financial transactions, involving taking payment using negotiable instruments
To assist the Loan Department with filing issues including documentation, scanning, and purging of loan files
Qualification
Required
One year to three years of similar or related experience
A high school education or GED
Good oral and written communication skills
Professional presentation
Good organizational skills
Ability to describe and sell appropriate products and services to members
Self motivation to complete job tasks to the best of personal ability
Proficiency in the use of a personal computer to include MS Word, Excel, and ability to use web and web-based applications
Proficiency in the use of a 10-key calculator
Ability to count cash
Basic keyboarding
Eagerness to learn new information in a fast-paced environment
Adaptability to apply new information as appropriate
Preferred
Experience in a loan department in a Credit Union is strongly preferred
Basic understanding of governmental regulations for financial institutions preferred
