They are seeking a Bindery Machine Operator to join their team in Duncan, South Carolina, where the operator will run bindery equipment and ensure the production of high-quality commercial print products.

Responsibilities

Complete the job successfully and provide a quality product the customer will want to order again
Run bindery equipment to produce premium commercial print
Run existing bindery equipment and be open to learning how to run new equipment
Troubleshoot production problems to ensure productivity and quality standards are met
Perform Quality Control (QC) procedures to meet Company standards
Perform basic maintenance of the bindery machines
Complete miscellaneous projects and various tasks as requested by management

Required

a high school diploma or GED
a two-year Technical or Trade School diploma
three years' experience as a bindery operator, cutter, folder or booklet maker
worked in a manufacturing environment for 2-5 years
worked in a fast-paced mid-size company
the ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
possess a thorough and organized approach to your work
pay close attention to details on every project
have basic computer skills
be self-motivated, a fast learner, and show initiative to seek out customer and corporate needs
plan, prioritize, coordinate, and manage your work
complete projects accurately within deadlines, while meeting Company quality standards
apply effective time management and self-management skills
understand and maintain the confidential nature of the company, employee and customer information
be flexible to change
able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing
willing to admit when you make a mistake
fiercely loyal to both our customers and team
trustworthy, reliable, and easy to get along with
enthusiastic and eager to take on new challenges
