Responsibilities

Conduct focused, small scale capability T&E to include cyber analysis and reporting
Act as the T&E liaison between customers, external stakeholders, site POCs, and other technical SMEs
Brief, document, and communicate status and issues to stakeholders
Mentor technical team members and raise the level of T&E acumen of the team
Provide technical insights and recommendations to the customer
Collaborate with DoD leadership, customer coordinators, and authoritative subject matter experts
Provide recommendations on appropriate hardware and software required to optimize advanced cyber assessments
Provide recommendations on appropriate find and fix actions
Write technical T&E reports based on analytical facts found during the research and development

Required

Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to clearly draft a test plan and document and present results
Depth of knowledge and experience in cyber testing and evaluation of DoD mission systems
Experience in the cybersecurity domain to include threat detection, response, and mitigation in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment
Proficient in analytical techniques to determine risks within each stage of a capability lifecycle
Able to extract technical and operational objectives from stated intent and requirements
Develop measurable test objectives, determine the best way to capture data, and able to interpret results with regards to stated objectives
Familiarity with IT compliance assessment frameworks (e.g., STIGs, RMF)
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field such as computer science or engineering
In lieu of a degree, direct related operational experience may be substituted
Cyber Defense Analysts must hold an IAT Level II as defined and described in DoDD 8570.01, 8570.01-M, 8140.01-03 and as amended
10+ years of comparable experience

Preferred

CSSP Auditor certification as defined and described in DoDD 8570.01, 8570.01-M, 8140.01-03 and as amended
DoD T&E assignment
