Responsibilities

Primary responsibility to perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of customer parts as part of the production process

Recommends changes to inspection or production activities to improve the overall quality of work

Communicates with shop supervisors and foremen to ensure all information needed to perform certain jobs have been obtained

Communicates with sales personnel on questions or comments about work in house

Agrees to work as needed to meet customer requirements

Follow all required safety procedures & protocols as defined by company EH&S policy, regulations, and the law

Qualification

Required

Level II NDT experience

Organizational skills, ability to read and use measuring equipment

Familiar with ISO9001 or AS9100

Visual and hearing acuity (reading machine dial gauges, blueprints, diagnosing machine sounds)

Communicates with shop supervisors and foremen to ensure all information needed to perform certain jobs have been obtained

Preferred

Faro inspection tool experience preferred, including using PolyWorks & Cam2 Measure inspection software

Experience using ECI JobBoss ERP software a plus

Certifications: NDT Level II (Liquid Penetrant)/ ACCP

Experience working in an inspector in a machine or spray shop environment
