Responsibilities
Partner with the Chief Investments Officer for client advisory purposes
Advise high net-worth individuals and small business owners who invest with the firm on important tax issues, as well as finance and accounting best practices
Review of clients files and general ledgers and delivery of analysis to client
Complete accounting and bookkeeping with accordance to GAAP
Prepare and review annual tax filings
Manage and develop a team of four people in tax and accounting related duties
Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records
Assess all business transactions and prepare accurate reports on your findings
Coordinate with employees on income tax research and planning
Qualification
Required
7+ years of client facing tax experience with a variety of tax and accounting issues
Strong professional communication, both verbal and written
Previous and recent experience in tax
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required
Preferred
CPA preferred, not required
