Program Manager, Resettlement and Integration

The Program Manager, Resettlement & Integration, coordinates the development, implementation, and completion of all grants and activities related to the resettlement and integration teams, while supervising staff and cultivating community partnerships.

Responsibilities

Effectively lead the development, implementation, compliance, and completion of a changing portfolio of various resettlement and integration grants, programs and contracts
Lead client intake, client referral process, and case coordination across all IRC Denver programs
Support the development of grant proposals and reports related to assigned areas of contracts and grants within the department
Supervise and lead the provision of services through regular and systematic case file reviews, and quality assurance protocols including data QA to ensure compliance with donor requirements and provision of quality services
In coordination with office leadership, manage expenses to ensure costs are maintained within allocated budgets
Conduct outreach activities in local communities and with relevant partner organizations to promote awareness of, and ensure timely access to, services available for refugees and other populations
Participate as an active member of the office leadership team and relevant internal and external groups
Supervise direct service staff and supervisors; formally evaluate team and individual performance to ensure objectives have been met
Recruit and train staff in all aspects of Resettlement and Integration programs responsibilities
Represent IRC in public, professional and governmental forums
Facilitate interdepartmental communication and information sharing for monthly newsletters, program reports, etc
Support and/or lead cross-program functions in the office, in coordination with office leadership

Required

Undergraduate degree required
Minimum of 5 years of program and staff management experience required
Demonstrated ability to promote an organizational culture that reflects IRC's core values of service, accountability, integrity, and equality
Ability to lead through the true collaboration of individuals from many cultures with a great variety of skills and perspectives
Strong analytical and training skills; excellent written and oral communication skills
Highly organized self-starter with proven success managing multiple priorities, making critical decisions, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Solid diplomacy, relationship building, and networking skills; ability to effectively manage internal and external relationships, including community stakeholders and donors
Fluent in English, both spoken and written
Demonstrated proficiency in working with MS Office applications, with a strong command of Excel
Valid driver's license and access to a personal, insured vehicle

Preferred

Advanced degree in a relevant field preferred
Experience working with and leading case management or resettlement programs strongly preferred
Experience managing a team of direct service providers strongly preferred
Previous fundraising and grant writing experience preferred
Proficiency in a second language is desirable
