Responsibilities
Provide initial client contact to assess scope of work, schedule and resources necessary to successfully complete a project
Ensures 100% of all staff and employees work in a safe environment
Prepare a complete estimate for selected project with a detailed review of plans, specifications and bid form
Plan and organize a project under the directions of Ownership and Executive Management
Defines project-related responsibilities to maximize resources
Train and effectively supervise Project Managers
Maintain liaison with GC client and A/E to help facilitate construction activities
Monitor construction activities in conjunction with the onsite Foreman and Area Superintendent
Supervise the preparation of any and all change quotations for presentation to the prime client. Negotiate all change quotations to a conclusion
Manage financial aspects of contracts ( progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect the company’s interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with the client
Review and Oversee any documentation prepared by Project Managers and Project Engineers
Qualification
Required
Experience as a Senior Project Manager
Ability to manage multiple jobs (5-10 at a time)
Strong client management skills, particularly with major tech clients
Conceptually strong with an engineering mindset
Experience with complex design build work
Leadership skills
Ability to assess scope of work, schedule, and resources for projects
Commitment to ensuring a safe work environment for all staff and employees
Ability to prepare complete estimates for projects with detailed reviews of plans, specifications, and bid forms
Experience in planning and organizing projects under the direction of Ownership and Executive Management
Ability to define project-related responsibilities to maximize resources
Experience in training and supervising Project Managers
Ability to maintain liaison with General Contractor clients and Architects/Engineers
Experience in monitoring construction activities in conjunction with onsite Foreman and Area Superintendent
Ability to supervise the preparation of change quotations for clients and negotiate them to conclusion
Experience in managing financial aspects of contracts including progress billing, rental equipment, and income/expenses
Ability to review and oversee documentation prepared by Project Managers and Project Engineers
