InternVan Meter Inc. is seeking a Technical Specialist Intern who will support products and initiatives related to the automation department. The intern will work closely with Automation Specialists and participate in various activities such as job shadowing, customer engagement, and technical development.

Responsibilities
Learn the roles of various departments in the organization and understand relationships with key partners and vendors
Participate in job shadowing across departments with a focus on Automation
Support and learn from our Automation Support and Design Engineering Teams
Join Account Managers and Specialists on customer site visits to learn how we engage and support our customers
Build technical acumen in an assigned domain (determined at the start of the internship)
Attend Commercial events and assist with technical sessions, labs, or trade shows as needed
Help create training materials for internal employees and external customers
Perform assigned tasks as directed
Qualification
Required
Strong internal and external customer service
Effective written and verbal communication
Organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
Willingness to learn, grow, and adapt to change
Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
Ability to work collaboratively and independently
High School Graduate
Pursuing a degree in a technical field including but not limited to: Engineering, Automation, Robotics, Computer Science, or Information Technology
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
