Responsibilities
Test software programs to ensure they meet the NASA customer's requirements and ensure their successful integration into larger systems used across the Dryden Aeronautical Test Range (DATR)
Communicate the findings of the test results to the development team, customer representative and engineering management
Assist hardware, systems engineers, and technicians in troubleshooting any anomalies; This may entail creating custom test tools aid personnel with their troubleshooting efforts
Write documentation in support of test development including, but not limited to: test plans, test procedures, descriptions and results
Document results of testing, while logging all defects identified in the approved test planning system
Provide technical guidance to users
Qualification
Required
High school diploma and 6 years of validation and verification experience required
Must be U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
Working knowledge of software development processes and systems integration
Windows operating system administration and telemetry concepts
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
Knowledge of test development, Azure DevOps Test Plans Suite
Apply the principles and techniques of software and system test development to specific projects
Write and prepare a variety of technical and user-oriented reports, manuals, and other types of written communications
Effectively use project planning, writing and spreadsheet software programs such as Microsoft Project, WORD and Excel
Familiarity with working in an ISO compliant/certified environment
