Responsibilities

Developing effective strategies for managing the company's finances in our international markets

Overseeing month-end close for our international markets, and year-end audits, working with external auditors and local finance teams/consultants/auditors

Supervising, training, and mentoring financial personnel

Supporting group and local financial audits to ensure timely and effective completion

Develop, implement, and maintain strong internal controls, policies, and efficient processes (like automation) for international financial reporting

Collaborating with the tax team to ensure that the company is minimizing tax exposure in the international markets

Collaborating with the treasury team in their management of cash flows

Provide financial insights to senior management, support budgeting/forecasting, and align accounting strategy with business objectives

Keeping interdepartmental projects on schedule, following up on delegated tasks, and responding to executive inquiries

Traveling periodically to meet with foreign advisors to ensure compliance and efficiency

Supporting/addressing the financial areas of expansion into new markets
