Production Engineering Intern (Summer 2026)

Responsibilities

Review and correct daily sales workflow issues
Review production entries throughout the week to ensure data integrity
Review Qlikview data for integrity and make necessary corrections after conversations with plant management
Provide market-wide Key Performance Indicator roll-ups for Operations Managers and finance teams
Develop presentations to discuss KPIs and leading causes of downtimes
Assist with forecasting and cost tracking
Maintain mobile and fixed equipment lists and functional locations at all sites, including transfers, acquisitions, and disposals
Guide or assist sites with modifying processing facility designs and layouts to improve efficiency, productivity, and maintenance
Interact with sites to ensure a proper preventive maintenance program is followed
Interpret drone survey data of mine site stock piles and provide true-up calculations

Required

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program majoring in Mining, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management
Strong academic performance
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Proven ability to multi-task
Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
Team oriented and able to work with all levels of the organization
Willing to spend time out in the field getting to know the business first hand
Possess, or willing to obtain, FAA 107 Remote Pilot Certificate
