Responsibilities
Handling of all post binding policy transactions including the processing of endorsements, cancellation, reinstatements and audits
Customer Service (answering phones, general correspondence)
Liaison between Agents, Brokers and Underwriters to ensure proper flow of requests
Finalize and maintain internal files
Various Marketing and Accounting Functions
Process and review insurance policies
Specialized projects for different departments
Serve as a back-up for other jobs as necessary
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Less than 1 year of experience in customer service or similar type role
Intermediate level experience with MS Word and Excel
Strong attention to detail
Ability to collaborate with others
Preferred
Prior insurance experience preferred, but willing to train
