Responsibilities

Oversee and supervise all land projects
Perform all functions of a Landman, including running full mineral and royalty title
Draft and review legal documents such as purchase and sale agreements, deeds of conveyance, oil and gas leases, and affidavits
Conduct complex titles due diligence and curative tasks
Participate in and contribute to meetings related to Land issues and requests
Play a key role in prospect evaluation and setting priorities
Supervise and mentor junior employees

Required

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in land management or related field, with significant experience running full mineral and royalty title
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Proficiency in using land databases and external resources (e.g., State Oil & Gas Commissions, Federal BLM MLRS system, County Clerk websites)
Excellent writing and oral communication skills
Ability to draft documents with an understanding of Land and Legal matters (including purchase and sale agreements, deeds of conveyance, oil and gas leases, affidavits, etc.)
Capability to multitask and perform complex title due diligence and curative tasks while adhering to strict deadlines
Strong understanding of land and legal matters, particularly in title due diligence and curative processes
Strong project management skills, including the ability to supervise multiple projects and adhere to strict deadlines
Experience in supervising and mentoring junior employees

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Land Management, Energy Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
